Complaints close two Ridgewood bars

Seneca Avenue will get a little quieter thanks to recent police action that will shutter the doors of two restaurants-turned-night-bars.

The two spots: Sabor and Rumba, located at 666 Seneca Ave., and Blue Restaurant and Bar at 681 Seneca Ave., greeted prospective customers with a cold metal gate instead of food and drink last week.

In 2014, Sabor and Rumba was served a summons for serving alcohol to an underage person.

The corner that the bars sit adjacent to, happens to be the location where a recent throat slashing took place. Police are still searching for leads in relation to the attack.

More information will be available on how long the establishments will be closed for and any related action, as it becomes available.
