Come to the Queens Library in Ridgewood to celebrate Hispanic Heritage with a performance by Sonido Costeño Trio.
Sonido Costeño (SC) is a modern day Latin band in New York City. Their high energy music is a creative fusion of Latin music and salsa with a dance repertoire that includes merengue, bachata, mambo, and more. Juan Ma Morales leads the band as vocalist and plays guitar as well as the Puerto Rican cuatro. They have performed in numerous venues including Harlem Meers in Central Park, Sounds of Brazil (SOB), and Subros, among others.
The performance will take place at the Queens Library in Ridgewood, 20-12 Madison Street on Saturday, September 29th at 3 pm. Admission is free.
