Police looking for man that alleged robbed one woman, groped another

The NYPD 104th Precinct released surveillance video of a man they say is wanted in connection with groping one woman then attempted to rob another just a few minutes later.

On Saturday, March 19th at 1:42 a.m., a unidentified Hispanic male allegedly approached a 20-year-old woman walking home from behind. The man is accused of pushing the the victim to the ground and grabbing her genitals over her clothing before fleeing on foot. He did not remove any property from the victim.

Just a few minutes later, at 1:46 a.m., in the vicinity of Harman Avenue, a 25-year-old woman was reportedly approached from behind when an unidentified man approached her from behind and put his hands on her neck. The individual tried to put his hands inside the victim’s pants and removed her purse and its contents before fleeing on foot.

Police believe the same individual may be responsible and attached surveillance video (seen above) that depicts and individual they believe may be connected to the incidents.

Police released a sketch of the suspect, pursuant to an ongoing investigation.
